Step 1: It's a Choice to Release Resistance
The first step to getting over your resistance is to be present in the moment.
The next time you're feeling resistant, take a deep breath and focus on what's happening right now. You may not be able to do this at first, but if you keep trying it will become easier over time.
Here are some ways that might help:
Notice what is going on around you without judging it or getting distracted by other thoughts or feelings (e.g., "I hear birds singing outside my window")
Focus on how something feels physically (e.g., "My legs feel stiff from sitting here too long")
Step 2: Be Present: Reset your Mindset with New More Powerful Patterns
The second step is to be present in your life. This means being mindful of your thoughts and actions, as well as the world around you. Mindfulness is a skill that can be learned and improved upon over time, but it's also a tool that can be used at any time.
The benefits of mindfulness include:
Greater focus and clarity
Improved emotional regulation (you'll feel less overwhelmed by emotions like anger or sadness)
Greater self-awareness (knowing what makes you happy vs sad)
Step 3: Take Action! Release the Old and Make Way for The New
Take action now! If you're ready to make a change, the first step is to take action. The sooner you do this, the better your chances of success.
Be present. Once you've made up your mind about what changes need to happen in your life and why they matter so much (that can be hard), try not to think about those things anymore until they are completed or at least under way. It's easy for us humans to get distracted by other things that pop up along our path towards our goals because we often don't know where exactly we're going yet--but this can lead us down several different paths at once instead of one clear direction forward towards success!
So set aside some time each day just for focusing on whatever project/goal/dreams are most important right now - whether it's reading through books or articles related specifically toward these tasks; making notes from these sources; talking with friends who may be able put forth helpful advice based upon their own experiences etc...
There is NO Time Like the Present.
You have to do it now. You can't wait for your life to be perfect, or for some magical moment when everything will fall into place and you'll finally be happy with yourself. You're not going to get there by waiting until then--you have to make it happen now!
The truth is that you're never going to be in a better position than you are right now: no excuses.
Get Yourself in a State.
To get yourself in a state, you need to use a trigger word or phrase. This can be anything that you find motivating and inspiring: "I am strong," or "I have what it takes," or even just saying your name aloud. You also want to visualize yourself achieving your goal--what does success look like? How do you feel when you achieve it? If this is difficult for you because of past failures or other negative experiences with similar goals, try writing down some positive affirmations about yourself instead (for example: "I am beautiful" or "I am confident").
Once these things are established, then all that's left is practice!
Practice makes perfect!

You don't have to wait for permission. You don't have to wait for the perfect time. You don't have to wait for someone else to take action, either.
